Our Priests

Pastoral leadership is taught in the Bible, and yet it is a topic of frequent, if not fervent, discussion and debate in pastors’ meetings, as well as in church parking lots. Pastoral leadership must be and can be effective. A thorough understanding of Scripture is important at this point. There must be a proper application and implementation of Scriptural principles. While there are available many excellent books on the subjects of leadership, administration, and management, some people become frustrated when they are unable to see these subjects presented in their Biblical setting. Don’t make the mistake of confusing functional ideas with their foundational support.

As the wife of one of the most dedicated, hardworking, selfless men I know; I found myself asking these questions when I didn’t have the answers to what he wanted to know. When his faith began to show itself to be nonexistent, all hell begins to break loose and chaos just seemed to override the promises of God... As the visionary of First Wives, Inc.; our mission will solely be dedicated to strengthening, encouraging, networking, providing leadership and support to wives and future wives to men in ministry and leadership. Proverbs 31 speaks of the noble woman; one who carries herself with knowledge, leadership, submission and grace. A woman who solely depends on the direction of God for strength, clarity and direction. One who builds and never destroys; one who respects and never bashes.

I encourage you daily to speak life into his vision, to seek God while it continues to unfold and speak words of encouragement, never discourage despite what or emotions may want to display (Proverbs 14:1). A wife’s relationship with her husband is to allegorize the church’s submission to Christ. This means that even when it doesn’t make sense, we are to uphold, strengthen, comfort and support. We are to lean for strength that can and will only come from God. I will never claim to have the blue print or all of the answers but what I do have is you...YES YOU! As First Wives we will support and guide each other in ensuring we’re taking care of our covering, our husbands. We all know that if home is not right, neither will ministry. But before we can be affective as wives in ministry, we must always keep in mind that we’re WIVES FIRST... Looking forward to experiencing what God will take us as we grow together! May He continue to cover you, your families, your marriages and most importantly your husbands.... Elder Tamika A. Nutter is the Associate  Pastor of Labourers of the Harvest Christian Fellowship the mother of 4 Children, the wife of Archbishop Sean A. Nutter, Sr.,
